Recently, the list of Patent Innovation Index of Chinese iron and steel enterprises was released by China Metallurgical Information and Standardization Institute, China National Intellectual Property Administration and Intellectual Property Publishing House Co.,Ltd. Xingtai Steel ranked 43th on the list. Beforehand, Xingtai Steel have also ranked in World’s top 50 steel companies in terms of technological competitiveness. Xingtai Steel has once again showed its strong core competitiveness.

　　Since it was evaluated as a national high-tech enterprise, Xingtai Steel has been focusing on the manufacturing power strategy and keeping the concept that not increasing production capacity to fight for scale, so the quality of products has been upgraded. The proportion of fine and special steel is 100% and the proportion of high-tech products is 75%. The core technology already up to the leading domestic and international advanced level. In recent years, Xingtai Steel has not only won the "National Quality Award", "the first prize of National Science & Technology Progress Award", "High-tech Enterprise" and other awards, but also always insists on scientific and technological innovation to promote the sound development. At present, our company has 73 provincial-level scientific and technological achievements, 42 world-leading achievements, and 67 provincial and municipal scientific and technological progress awards. 　　Patent Innovation Index of Chinese iron and steel enterprises is a fair and professional evaluation on the patent innovation performance of China's iron and steel enterprises from various perspectives, such as patent creation, patent application and patent protection. It is also a comprehensive analysis of the patent data from 219 units in the past five years , including research institutions and design institutes among the members of China Iron and Steel Association. This activity aims to promote the competence of patent innovation and the high-quality development of Chinese iron and steel industry.
